PRELUDE                                                                                                 Robert Reese

OPENING PRAYER

Almighty and everlasting God, in whom we live and move and have our being, You created us for yourself, so that our hearts are restless until they find rest in you. Grant to us such piety of heart and strength of purpose that no selfish passion may hinder us from knowing Your will, and no weakness from doing it. In Your light may we see life clearly and in Your service find perfect freedom; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

CALL TO CONFESSION

PRAYER OF CONFESSION-Unison

Almighty and most merciful God, we have erred and strayed from Your ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against Your holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done, and we have done those things which we ought not to have done. But You, O Lord, have mercy upon us. Spare those , O God,  who confess their faults. Restore those who are penitent, according to Your promises declared in Jesus Christ our Lord. And grant, O merciful God, for His sake, that we may hereafter live a godly, righteous, and sober life; to the glory of Your holy name. Amen.

PRAYERS AND OFFERINGS

OFFERTORY PRAYER-Unison

O Lord, giver of life and source of freedom, we know that all we have received is from Your hand. Gracious and Loving Father, You call us to be stewards of Your abundance, the caretakers of all You have entrusted to us. Help us to always use Your gifts wisely and teach us to share them generously. Send the Holy Spirit to work through us, bringing Your message to those we serve. May our faithful stewardship bear witness to the love of Jesus Christ in our lives. We pray with grateful hearts, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
