Christmas Eve Service

It was a beautiful starry night when we left the Christmas Eve Service at church to go to our homes for Christmas. The children (at least 22 of them!) had bags of “goodies” put together for them by our “wise women.” Louis had awed us with his angelic voice, including singing the Lord’s Prayer. The Christmas message by the youth was inspiring and delivered the true meaning of Christmas for us to remember. That night, as on the first Christmas night, Mary and Joseph, shepherds and Wise Men, all the gifts as well as the star, witnessed the miracle birth of Jesus, the Son of God. Through the voices of children of God we all received the gifts of Christmas joy, peace, hope and love.

I am so thankful for the hard work of the youth, their teachers, musicians and others who put together a wonderful presentation to God and to us. May the whole world receive the peace of Christ forever more and may we be gifted to be a part of his-story. Joy to the world, the Savior reigns!

Rejoice! Pastor Vicki
