INVOCATION
Holy God, the story of the saints through all the ages come to us as a gift, for it is through them that we have learned the meaning of faith. We receive this gift with thanks and praise. We are grateful for their example, for showing us the way, for challenging us to continue to live faithful lives. Grant us perseverance when the race gets tough, courage when trials beset us and rest when we grow weary from the struggles of life. May Christ’s joy renew us as we fix our eyes on him. Amen.
