ANNOUNCEMENTS

PRELUDE

*CALL TO WORSHIP

Leader: In the beginning…

People: In the beginning God created.

Leader: In the beginning was the Word.

People: Darkness was in the beginning. Then God said: “Let there be light!”

Leader: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.

People: If we walk in the light, we have fellowship with one another.

Leader: Whoever claims to live in the light must walk as Jesus walked.

People: We are people of the light! Let us walk in that light by obeying the Word.

*GREETING

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
And also with you.
Remember, once you were without hope and without God in the world.
But now in Christ Jesus you who were once far off  have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

OPENING PRAYER – Unison
Gracious Lord, We come with joy to worship you.
Forgive our sins that this joy may be pure.
Receive our praise and adoration that you may be blessed by our worship.
Speak to us through your Word, that we may hear your guidance for our lives.
In the name of Christ we pray, Amen.
